In between diapers

Well, we're all moved in and settling into our new home. Thanks to family, we were able to get a lot of those annoying move-in things taken care of without a lot of fuss. Paul's parents drove back from Utah with me and stayed a few extra days to help install ceiling fans, kitchen hardware, and blinds. They also let Paul and I have a date, which was much needed.The trip to Utah went well. I finished the half-marathon with my dad and sister (Arianne got 2nd place and rocked the St. George marathon a few weeks later). I was a little sore and probably looked kinda funny walking around for the next couple days, but it was a good experience and I hope to do it next year! I got to attend my friend, Kamber's wedding. It was beautiful, and we're very excited to get to know Shane better. Paul packed and moved everything while I was gone which was very nice of him. I couldn't have packed while I was home with three kids unpacking faster than I pack! We've enjoyed more space, being closer to a more kid-friendly park, and the extra time we get with Paul now that we're 20-30mins closer! With all the extra space, Ewan had to learn how to walk pretty quickly in order to keep with the twins running around. He was getting so frustrated watching them run past him while he was crawling to wherever they were. He's not that fast, but he's getting there. The twins are adjusting well...kinda, they're still having a hard time staying in their bed the whole night. If we could get that taken care of, life would be just fantastic! We're looking forward to the cooler weather (we love Arizona falls and winters). 

The house that...Lennar built!

Things happen pretty quick, we've decided. We started really looking for a house about a month and a half ago. We've been looking online for months, but we got together with a Realtor to look at homes. I've had my favorite for several months, but it has a lot of financial issues, so we decided to let it go. Our Realtor took us to some homes we'd seen online with a little more yard than most. We really liked them. They're being built and will be done in the middle of this month. We chose one we really liked, and started the process of really looking at it. Soon, we had made an offer and signed our lives away. Yes, we signed our lives away for the next thirty years. How scary is that?!? After a few cranberry juice floats for Paul and box of chewy candy for me, we're okay. This house is brand new, sits on a 1/3 an acre and is 25 mins closer to work! We're very excited! It's officially ours. We got the keys yesterday. Well, Paul got the keys. I'm still in Utah.

It's been a while

Ewan doesn't really enjoy this, but the twins do. They love to stick the foamy bath toys onto his back. It's pretty funny.

Aislee is reading a really good book. Check out the title (my mom wrote it).

It was a warm afternoon and we needed Popsicles. Ewan thoroughly enjoyed them.

We also played around with the water table. This is the first time I've let Ewan participate. He was a much happier camper than before.

This is why vacuums were invented! They like popcorn, but it's really hard to keep them from dumping it on the floor. They also think it's pretty cool how the vacuum makes it disappear!

Paul put Ewan in the stroller. Aislee (my little mother) spent most of the morning pushing him around. He enjoyed it until she made a sharp turn.

I'm glad he's easy-going. He really has to be with his crazy older sisters.

This is Aislee in her element. She wakes up and goes right for the blocks. I think she may be our little engineer.

The last couple weeks have gone by pretty fast. We've been pretty busy with lots of stuff and making lots of scary, life-changing decisions. But, we're adults right? And, it's about time! Anyway, we've been driving back and forth from our newest purchase, cruising Lowe's, and contemplating what life is going to bring. We're also looking forward to going to Utah this week to see family, run a race, and relax (sorta). Paul will be driving up with me on Thursday. My race is on Saturday. He flies home Monday. I'm staying for a wedding the next week. His parents will be in Utah and are going to drive back to Tucson with me. Hopefully, Paul will have everything packed and moved. He can get a lot more done while I'm gone than if I were home, with everybody.
