Home again, home again, jiggidy jig...

This year, we decided to see how the kids would do in the car for a very long time! We drove to Oklahoma to visit Paul's family. It's about a 16 hour drive from Tucson to Bartlesville. The night of the 17th, we loaded up the car, set up the dvd player, and slept for 5 hours. The next morning, we left at 4am and headed east. Many people said we were crazy, and we debated over the trip for several weeks. But, we decided that we'd never know how it'd go until we tried it. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. The girls watched movies, Ewan slept and ate and Paul drove. We had moments when the girls needed a diaper change or were trying to get comfortable enough to take a nap, but overall they did very well. We arrived around 9 pm that night. We were all very happy to see Grandma and Grandpa! We spent the next week and a half hanging out, visiting, going on a few dates, and enjoying family. Our kids got to meet their cousins, Sam and Jillian and play with Benson, Grace, Sabrina and Spencer. We'll have to get pictures from Grandma and Grandpa and the Aunts of them playing.

It looks like an exciting adventure. How are you doing with three little ones? You are amazing. Are your little girls into everything. I can't keep up with my boys. My house is always a disaster. How great that your girls are big enough to ride forward facing, we are still in our rear facing carseats. I can;t wait until my boys put on a few more pounds so we can make the switch. Your kids are so cute.
